door between 3 - 5 p.m. the same day.

The Seniors Advisory
Council, operating from the Ladysmith Resources Centre, has been
offering a home delivery service for seniors and shut-ins since January
1999.
Volunteers are on duty
every Tuesday and Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to take phone
orders. Other volunteers shop for the groceries and prepare them for
delivery. The 49th Parallel Grocery delivers the orders to seniors in
the "245" phone prefix free of charge on these two days.
Although there is a Fuel charge that applies to this service for
$1.00 (incl.gst).
